The Finish 1 Hardener is a perfect addition to the collection of supplies in your auto body shop. It is a superior quality 3.5 VOC Acrylic Enamel that gives you a wonderful sheen and better metallic control. This hardener is available in three varieties such as slow, medium, and fast. These indicate the temperature ranges suitable for the product.
For preparing the right mix, take 4 parts Finish 1 3.5 Color and 1 part Hardener. The most suitable temperature range for this product is 60ºF - 70ºF. Air-drying is recommended. Use slow hardener in temperatures of 80ºF and above.
For best results, we recommend that you use this hardener with a sealer. It is best to apply 2 medium wet coats or more to achieve the required result.
Application Air Pressure:
- 10 psi HVLP
- 40-45 psi conventional gravity feed
- 10-12 fluid ounces per minute and 30-35 psi w/pressure pot
Please understand that you could be exposed to the hardener during its usage. The most common exposures occur through inhalation of the vapor or spray or by way of contact with the eyes or skin. Overexposure may cause irritation in the eyes and skin, while inhalation could affect the upper respiratory system.
The Finish 1 Hardener is made in the USA and should work well with products from Finish 1, Planet Color, and Acme.
