The Evercoat 440 Express Micro-Pinhole Eliminator is a quick fix for micro-pinholes that are not easily identified before applying primer surfacer. Without this eliminator, the micro-pinholes will show up after the surfacer is applied and will require rework. This 1K technology micro-pinhole eliminator is a high-solids polyester, which you can apply easily. It dries quickly and works as a final surface preparatory formula.
This effective solution eliminates up to 90% of all rework as a result of micro-pinholes on the panel surfaces. This fast drying sealer fills unsightly micro-pinholes in bodywork in a single simple step.
Just buff on, No Catalyst, No Dry time, No Sanding. Will not shrink.
How to apply the Evercoat 440 Express Micro-Pinhole Eliminator
- Sand the surface you want to repair with a 180 grit or finer sandpaper
- Remove the dust from the surface with clean compressed air
- Shake the micro-pinhole eliminator bottle thoroughly before every use to avoid settling
- Attach the foam applicator to the handle
- Squeeze a small amount of the solution to the foam applicator
- Wipe the solution-coated applicator gently over the entire repair area in round strokes until no residue remains and micro-pinholes are eliminated
- Repeat use if necessary to ensure all micro-pinholes are removed
- If you end up using excess solution than required, keep wiping with the dry end of the applicator until the residue disappears
