Easily release springs in spring latch rearview mirrors!
Spring latch rearview mirrors have become common on many vehicles. A small spring located inside the rearview mirror is pushed down as you slide the rearview mirror onto the mirror button. Because this spring is hidden inside where the mirror attaches to the mirror button it is very difficult to release. The Equalizer Spring Latch Rearview Mirror Removal Tool compresses the spring so the mirror will slide off of the mirror button. Just place the tool against the glass at the bottom of the mirror base and push the tool into the opening. It compresses the spring and allows you to slide the mirror button.
