The 3M Quick Connect Adapter is a buffing tool adapter that is used for quickly connecting and disconnecting buffing pads from the buffing tool. The quick connect adapter is easy to use and has a 5/8" thread. The 3M adapter is best used for attaching double sided wool and foam pads to buffers. The pads can be centered every time and are fast and easy to use. The pads firmly lock into place and make it simple to switch from double sided compounding pads to polishing pads.
