A necessity for large rotary sanding tasks. I have used it extensively on timbers for a timber-frame. It does an excellent job and overall works somewhat better than 4" belt sander--it is easier to hold and maneuver. Caveat--never use on a 3600 rpm grinder--you will burn it up in no time. I find around 2750 rpm works best on a variable-speed. The only negative is cost--this is a great implement but should be priced at around 25-30. Hint to the competition.
