You can use this respirator to provide effective protection while welding, brazing, torch cutting, pouring of metals, soldering, and use to prevent exposure to harmful components like asbestos, cadmium, and arsenic. It will protect you from these components even if they are present in concentrations that are ten times more than the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL).
The 3M Half Facepiece Respirators are soft and lightweight, and are comfortable to wear and use. It also has adjustable straps for your ease of use; it can be customized to suit the user. It has a special 'swept-back' design that improves visibility. The swept-back design of the cartridges helps improve the balance of the product too. It also has an activated carbon layer that can reduce organic vapors and odors.
