my brother inlaw has a 92 s 10 with a 2.8.he changed just about all the sencers in it and even the timing chain and gears but he is still haven trouble with it.it shuts off while sitting at a stop light or stop sign.what could it be?he even changed the fule filter spark plugs and wires cap and rotor.could it be the fule regulator?thanks.

I had this happen to me. Traced the trouble to the two leads coming from the module inside the distributor. They'd dried out and were cross talking.
