I'm looking for some of this masking material but I am not sure what it is called. It looks like a roll of white vinyl. You lay it on the hood of the car then take a razor and cut out lettering and pictures to create a stencil, then you spray the hood with paint and peel off all of the vinyl.
Basically, does anyone know what this material is called and where I can buy a roll of it?

I've been looking also, as I want to try to do some different paint work. I found some stuff called "MASKING/TRANSFER FILM-Frisket" it seems like this is the stuff that would work for doing flames, drips, or other effects. Hope this helps!

Quick suggestion An Old timer once suggested to me, when I asked how to mask off some flames, he would use clear Shelf Paper to lay out the pattern. You know the stuff your mom used in the kitchen cabinets. It will come off a surface easily and ,if not left to long, leave a good clean edge.
