This tool is the best tool Ive bought in a long time. I bought it for the glass thing but that is the last thing it is used for in the shop. It does work well for the glass work and has saved alot of time but the other uses far out weigh the glass uses. To romove caulking it is the sh''.It will save more time on a big job than any other tool. Sound pads are a breeze to remove. Bed liner is a snap. Rusty exhaust bolts are easy. Instaloling sound pads is much easier. Glue from bonded parts is fast. This tool gets the temp of the metal up so fast it is hard to keep up with it. The shop bill for the wire wheels has gone down from 6-8 a month to 1-2 a month. This tool is a great buy if you look at the long run and no moving parts to whear out just the probes if you get them to close to your work.

Its also great for removing door skins from the door rebars. heating the skin side removes the skin while leaving the foam on the rebar. All i do when installing the new skin is ad some glue to the "pads".
