TIPS FOR USING CENTERING GAUGES

Chains must hang at an
angle of 35 degrees or less in relation to the bars. |

Calibrated chains are
color coded every ten beads for easy adjustment. The bar must be
suspended at exactly the same length on each side. |

Hooks may be
attached at jigholes in frame, body floor or sill panels. On
unitized bodies you may want to use the junction between the sill
panel and floor stiffeners to attach the gauges. |

gauges will be necessary. You may want to use 4 in a hard side
collision. |

Gauges may be
left in place while repairs are being made so the frame can be
checked at any time while the technician is making the
necessary corrections.
