Self Generating Vacuum sanders uses the exhaust air, which is directed through a venturi, to create a vacuum at the sanding interface. This sander has a threaded attachment feature that allows a 1" external threaded vacuum hose to be securely attached to the tool without having to worry about the hose becoming disconnected. This sander comes with a new 3M, patent pending, Clean Sanding Filter Bag, Filter Bag Adaptor, and Hookit Clean Sanding Disc Pad which provides excellent dust collection and eliminates the need for a vacuum hose. This system creates a user friendly and high efficiency dust collection system when used with 3M Clean sanding abrasives.
