Before assembling your Truck Bed Roller please check that you have the following parts,                                           
                                                  

4 Chains                                                         18 Flat washers

            2 – 5/16” x 2 ½” Bolts                                   4 – 3/8” Nuts

            8 – 5/16” J-Bolts                                            4 – 3/8” Lock washers

            10 – 5/16” Rev. Lock nuts                            4 – Caplugs

            1 Base support rail “A” (with outside receiver tubes)
            
            1 Base Support rail “AA” (with inside receiver tubes)

            4 Support legs “B” (3 holes/black mark)

            1 Top support rail “C” (with outside receiver tubes)

            1 Top support rail “CC” (with inside receiver tubes)

            4 – 5” Swivel casters

1. Unpack all pieces and lay out in an orderly fashion, this will make assembly
   easier.
   
   
2. Take 4 support legs with the black mark and hammer into bottom base support
   rails forming an “X” assembly.  Black mark MUST BE SECURED into bottom
   base.  Bottom holes are for bottom chains; top holes are for top chains.
   
   
3. Locate inside support legs “B” (1 hole) and insert them into base support rail
    “AA.”  Make sure the 3 parallel holes are facing out and up toward TOP
   support rails “C” and “CC.” Then repeat the same process as in step #2.
   
   
4. Now you have the base support rails “A” and “AA” complete.  Using the
   2 – 5/16” x 2 ½” bolts, washers and locknuts provided interlock the 2 sets of
   support legs forming an “X” assembly and simply bolt together and tighten
   the 5/16” locknut to your preference.
   
   
5.  Locate the top hole of both “B” legs.  Take 5/16” x 1 ¾” bolt so that the threads
   are facing out towards the outside support legs.  Take a flat washer, 1 length
   of chain followed by another as to “sandwich” the chain link in-between the
   washers and finish with a 5/16”locknut.  Repeat the same process with the
   “B” support leg.  Now hook the chain link onto the support legs.  You have now
   completed the “X” assembly.
   
   
6. WARNING! All four chains must be taut without any slack before using Truck 
   Bed Roller!  If any chain has slack, adjust where the chain link bolts to support 
   leg until all four chains are of equal tension.  FAILURE TO DO SO MAY 
   CAUSE DAMAGE TO TRUCK BED!
   
   
7. Take the top 2 support rails “D” and “DD”, insert them over the inside and
   outside support legs.  NOTE…for cosmetic looks only, the receiver tubes
   should be face down when installing over the support legs.  Use a heavy type
   bench hammer with moderate force evenly tapping both ends of “D” and “DD”
   rails until they are bottomed out.
   
   
8. The Base of the unit is now complete.  Flip it upside down to install the 5”
   swivel casters.  Insert the stems through the holes on “A” and “AA” rails
   followed by the lock washers and tighten snug with the 5/16” nuts.
   
   
9. Flip the unit right side up and insert the 4 caplugs to complete assembly.

NOTE: the Truck Bed Roller was designed to break down due to UPS shipping
restrictions.  After the unit is assembled, AT YOUR OPTION, we suggest welding
all the joints to make the unit completely permanent.
