To assemble your Bumper Caddy, simply follow these
instructions. If
further assistance is needed, please call and we’ll be
glad to help.
1.
Unpack all pieces, layout in an orderly fashion.
Check to make sure that all pieces are present.
2.
Start with the long
(42” & 35”) Braces, find the 3 holes drilled
on the upright braces and lay out the Angle Iron Braces flat
on the floor. Make
sure to insert the end with 3 holes drilled on THIS END!
Now use the 5/16” x ½” bolts and tighten down
firmly.
3.
Next, bolt the 16” Flat brace.
Line up the hole on the angle iron brace and the hole
on the upright brace. Use
the ¼” x ¾” bolt on the angle iron brace along with
the ¼” nylock and 2 flat washers, tighten firmly.
Now use the ¼” x 1 ½” bolt, nylock and washers
and secure the flat brace onto the upright braces.
Repeat this process for the other side.
4.
Next you will attach the 2 – 43” Cross Braces
with slotted hole brackets on both ends.
Line up the 2 holes drilled in the upright braces
(top &bottom). Now
use the ¼” x 1 ½” bolts, nylocks and washers to secure
the cross braces. Tighten
down firmly! Repeat
this process by joining the two bases and upright braces
together. You
have just completed the base assembly.
5.
Now, install the 4 – 4” locking casters.
Insert the stem through the holes on the base and
tighten down the 3/8” lockwashers and nuts.
6.
Use the Adjustable Shelf Braces (6 – 28” & 6
– 18”) by simply interlocking the brackets onto the
upright braces as needed.
